Logi solo
By Tefanforfance
This is my short guide to logistics in the game. The guide is designed for solo play and should help beginners understand the basics of Foxhole logistics. It contains theoretical information without nuances, so the guide will likely remain relevant for a long time. I hope you find something useful in what’s written below.

About the Game
Almost all activities in the game are designed for team play, and logistics is no exception. For greater efficiency, each stage is handled separately by different people, who together form a logistics chain. However, in this guide, I will try to describe the entire process from start to finish for a single player. In the future, when you play with others, you will still need general knowledge of each stage.

The guide will not cover factory construction or railway deliveries, as these activities imply teamwork involving many players. The mechanics of factories and team logistics in clans will be explained to you in detail.
Resource extraction
Let’s start by understanding where resources come from and how they are turned into ammunition, rifles, and everything else we’ll need to transport.

On the map, you can find resource deposits. There are 5 types of deposits, each with its corresponding resources. Each deposit has a limit, and once a field is depleted, you’ll need to wait for new resources to spawn.

Salvage - This is the most basic resurces, which can be refined into basic materials and fuel . This is the resource we’ll be gathering the most.
You can find it by this icon on the map.

Sulfur - A sulfur deposit, which is refined into gunpowder, a key component for producing explosives and ammunition. You can find it by this icon on the map.

Components - A more advanced resource needed for building certain vehicles. It’s highly sought after by players and therefore rare; solo players don’t need it much. You can find it by this icon on the map.

Coal - A coal deposit, necessary for fueling trains.
You can find it by this icon on the map.

Oil - An oil deposit, which requires special pumpjacks to extract. You can find it by this icon on the map.
Additionally, at resource fields, you can find automated mines that autonomously extract resources (provided they are fueled). You can take resources from them to save time.
Tools
Hammer - A basic tool needed for building and repairing objects/vehicles. It can also be used to gather resources. Always keep one on you.

Sledge Hammer - A sledgehammer is used solely for gathering resources and is more efficient than a regular hammer. Everyone involved in resource gathering uses it.

Harvester - A special type of vehicle that allows for faster and more efficient resource extraction. It’s typically found at resource fields (provided the corresponding technology has been unlocked by the faction).
Resource recycling
Resources obtained from gathering are useless on their own. They need to be transported to a refining building called the "Refinery", marked on the map with a hammer icon. Here, we can turn resources into materials that will later be used in production.

It’s important to note that there are two refining modes: personal and public. Select the appropriate toggle in the menu, and the resources will go to the chosen section. If you set it to public refining, the resources will go into the building’s public storage. Personal queues decay over time, and your personal items will eventually transfer to the public stockpile, so keep this in mind.
Resource refining takes time. Once the resources are ready, we can collect them and move on to the next stage. We don’t necessarily have to gather and refine resources ourselves - we can use pre-refined ones—but they may not always be available, and gathering doesn’t take much time anyway.
Production
With the refined resources, we head to the factory. The factory building is marked with a corresponding icon on the map. There are also mass production factories nearby with a similar icon; they operate on the same principle but allow for larger production batches.

Here, we simply select the item we want to produce (the number of resources required can be seen by hovering over the item), choose personal or public mode, and start production. Note that production time also depends on your queue. If someone else has already started production before you, you’ll have to wait longer.
As a result, we receive crates of supplies . The items can only be used after unpacking the crate. Unpacking is done at any base by transferring the crates to the base’s public inventory and pressing the corresponding button.
Storages
The obtained crates can be sent to a seaport or a storage depot. These structures exist in every region and serve as locations where resources are collected for further distribution within the region. Unlike regular bases, items here are stored in crates, not unpacked.

To transfer the contents of a container to the storage, load it onto the platform nearby using a stationary crane. Then, without leaving the crane, press the buttons indicated in the screenshot below, and the contents will be transferred to the storage. You can also submit the container itself to the storage by pressing the button again. You can store vehicles here as well, but they must be fully repaired before being submitted to the storage.
Private storage
In addition to the public storage, you can store items privately for your squad at the depot. To do this, create your squad and use the button (marked in red) to create a private storage. To access the private storage, use the toggle (marked in green). Remember that you need to periodically renew the reservation on the storage to prevent items from being moved to the public storage; to do this, a squad member must regularly log into the game.
Local logistics
First, open the map and check the current front you plan to supply. Usually, players at the front place a "Logi list" marker where they post current requests, but you can also decide what to deliver yourself. Hover over a base to see what’s missing. Also, don’t forget to check neighboring bases. For example, if the frontline lacks basic materials (Bmats) but the next line has them, there’s no need to deliver them there—players can walk and grab them themselves. This mainly applies to Bmats and ammo; no one will go to neighboring bases for infantry weapons or grenades, so keep that in mind.
Next, check where you can pick up supplies. If something needs to be delivered urgently, look at storage depots in the frontline region or neighboring ones. If the front can wait, bring supplies from rear regions to avoid depleting frontline depots, as those are under the most strain and get emptied first. Delivery by truck, even over long distances, is quite fast.

If the front isn’t urgent, head to the rear, grab a truck with all the necessary supplies, and drive to the front. After delivering the resources, don’t drive back—just leave the region, respawn in the rear, and grab a new truck to save time on the return trip.

Before abandoning the truck, don’t forget to unlock it so other players can take it for themselves.
Local production
Usually, there aren’t as many crates of supplies in the rear as we’d like. To avoid heavily depleting local storage depots, we can produce some items ourselves. For example, shirts and grenades are often in short supply in depots, but they’re quick to make. This is especially true if we’re making frequent trips, as public depots can empty out quickly. Remember that it’s important not only to take from public storage but also to replenish it.

In small-scale logistics, we only use a truck. This type of logistics is designed for quick, small deliveries. This approach is ideal for beginners to get more comfortable with the game and understand how it works.
Global Logistics
To start, we’ll need a Flatbed Truck, a large truck used for transporting oversized cargo. You don’t have to build one; you can often find an abandoned one and take it for yourself.

Next, we’ll need a container, which can be picked up at a port or built at a Construction Yard for just 100 basic materials (Bmats) . A container can hold a total of 60 crates , and this is where we’ll store them.
Now, open the map and select a region to supply. Check all the storage depots in the region and decide what to deliver. It’s best to bring what’s truly in short supply, mainly explosives, ammo, and shirts. Once you’ve decided what to transport, start loading the container.

This type of logistics will require more time and involve more monotonous work, but it is still designed for solo gameplay. It focuses on large-scale deliveries, addressing the needs of not just a specific front but an entire frontline region as a whole.
Marine logistics
Maritime logistics differs from land-based logistics, as it involves the use of a "Freighter" ship, which can carry 5 large cargo items. It’s spacious, but I don’t recommend using it to navigate rivers in land regions to supply the front - it’s very slow and uninteresting.

We can also engage in small-scale logistics in maritime regions, but for this, you’ll need to transport a vehicle on a barge. The barge itself has slots that can be filled with crates. You can also load a container onto it.
Directional choice
When choosing a destination, also analyze the situation at the front. If you see that the enemy has an advantage and you realize that the base you planned to supply is likely to be lost, it might be worth switching to a more secure nearby base where the front will likely shift next.
Security
Partisan activity is mostly useless, but you can still get attacked while transporting cargo. It happens rarely, but it’s better to be prepared.
First, equip an engineer uniform so that basic materials (Bmats) don’t slow you down. You’ll need them to repair your vehicle after fending off an attack. About 40 Bmats should be enough to fix the vehicle and get to a safe place.

Take the simplest close-range weapon. A submachine gun with a couple of magazines will do—don’t take too much. Your vehicle will likely be your only cover if you’re stopped, so this is the best choice.

Bring a radio to get real-time map updates. With an equipped radio, watchtowers update every 5 seconds. Before driving through an unprotected road section, check the map. If you spot a blip near the road you plan to take, there might be an ambush—look for detour options.

Just in case, carry a bandage to avoid dying from bleeding, which can often happen during a firefight. You can also bring a gas mask with one filter, though it’s unlikely you’ll need it.
What to do if you’re attacked:
If someone starts shooting at you, don’t stop—you might manage to drive away before your vehicle’s durability runs out.

If you’re forced to stop, first switch to the passenger seat (depending on which side the shots are coming from) and exit the vehicle. Use the key combination + ,, where the numbers correspond to the seat in the vehicle. Play dumb and don’t draw your weapon; wait until the enemy gets confident and approaches the vehicle. When they’re close, pull out your weapon. Don’t worry about hitting your vehicle with shots—just focus on killing the partisan. Once the enemy is dead, repair the vehicle enough to get it moving and drive to a safe place as quickly as possible.

Tips:
Don’t forget to lock your vehicle and avoid carrying a wrench in your inventory, as enemies can use it to unlock your vehicle if you die.

It’s better to store Bmats in the vehicle, but decide what’s more convenient for you.

If you don’t have a weapon and get attacked, jump out of the vehicle and run to the nearest base. Set a spawn there, grab a weapon, and rush back to reclaim your vehicle. Most likely, by the time you return, the vehicle will already be destroyed. The key is to find the partisan and finish them off—they’ll likely try to hide crates to despawn them.
