MEG PROOF! M/V Orca II

Description
The Orca II is designed from the keel up to be as megalodon-proof as possible. It has some of the usual creature comforts (rear-view camera, beds, med bay, etc.), it also has a host of systems designed to make it resilient.

To start, engage the pumps and open fuel valves from the helm. Then depress the starter and the engine will catch. Advance the throttle and the engine will spool up, then engage the drive clutch to about 0.60. This will yield a top speed of ~29.5 kts. Advancing the clutch to 1.0 will stall the engine after the gearbox update.

- Redundant engine and steering systems
- Recessed propeller housings with safety cages
- Double-hull design
- Automatic bilges and fire suppression
- Decoy/towing winch which doubles as an emergency beacon and recovery device
- Automatic throttle-down in case of power loss
- Location broadcasting
- Passive interior door closures to prevent flooding during power outages
- 28+ knot top speed to make megs give up pursuit
- All vital functions accessible within secured/sealed systems

During the past week of testing I was only able to get it to sink by leaving emergency breakers off during repeated meg attacks. This is a highly durable and resilient craft.

Start the boat with the pumps on and fuel valves open. Advance the throttle to full, but don't engage the drive throttle past 0.60 at first otherwise the engine will stall. The gearbox update messed it a little bit, but it also allows a higher top speed (~29.5 kts) if the drive clutch isn't fully engaged.

Good boat, but i really wish it had a stabilizer since it tips over almost constantly.
