Description
Fallout Addon

This pack contains 15 SWEPs from the Fallout NV. I tried to make them as in the NV as I could including sounds and models.

There's a list of SWEPs:

<> Baseball bat
<> Bumper sword
<> Cleaver
<> Combat knife
<> Fire axe
<> Hatchet
<> Kitchen knife
<> Lead pipe
<> Machete
<> Machete gladius
<> Nail board
<> Power fist
<> Sledgehammer
<> Super sledgehammer
<> Thermic lance (but it doesn't work the same way as it does in the Fallout NV :( )

I've just made these models useable for my server, all credits to the main authors.
Basic models and textures were made by Bethesda. Special thanks to halokiller38 for importing models in GMOD and to TFA for the most wounderful weapon base in GMOD :3.

Besides the animations being all the same, it would be cool if there were more melee weapons like this, TFA or otherwise. Most source games have melee weapons that just make the NPCs flop over on the spot. These TFA weapons have a dynamic impact depending on direction, so swinging your weapon to the right at an NPC means its Ragdoll will fall or fly in that direction, swinging to the left has the same effect and so on. Would definitely like to see more of these with original models and animations. The Nightmare House 2 Mod has a hatchet that does this well too ( https://youtu.be/R4D2F_bIzwQ?t=123 )

For a melee pack, this sucks. Every weapon has the same animation, honestly this looks more like a baby's first steps tfa, which is cleary isnt. Id like to see you put a bit more effort if you ever update this. For roleplay, its quite okay. It breaks immersion by having the weapons use the S A M E ANIMATION. Honestly a 4/10. Put a bit more effort and it would work better.

I was going to say "Cool; I like having more TFA Melee Weapons", but lad, this looks like you tried out a tutorial online on how to make TFA weapons, stopped at the Killing Floor 2 Melee Base and decided, "Hm maybe someone who like Fallout will like lol".
Please use Yurie's Melee bases instead of misleading garbage like late-career TFA, where a Katana that deals 100+ damage is listed as 15 damage, with a swing rate that's clearly not 600 RPM. Also, you're supposed to link the secondary base for Killing Floor 2 Parrying Melees, because without it required, people are not going to be able to use it properly and complain about a not-required but still required addon.
