EE Snow Removal

Description
This Workshop item contains one override mdl file for the snow weather effect. The model has been compiled into binary mdl and included in the override subdirectory of the workshop download.

Snow normally showers a large number of small white particles from a rectangle typically higher and wider than the game viewing window. For this "subtractions" override, the snow has been deleted, since I received a number of complaints that snow must be causing framerate issues in the snowy areas of the Arelith Persistent World server.

This workshop item has also been uploaded to the neverwintervault archives at
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/hakpak/ee-weather-snow-removal

The vault files can be downloaded and added to a hak, or, used as overrides in the documents/override folder.

This package is part of my "Subtractions" collection, a series of optional overrides that remove materials from the base game for performance or cosmetic benefits.

This is great, but I'm having an issue where I can't see the snow at all. I've had this problem for years now. Any known fix?

Thank you for this, I actually stopped playing simply because of the snow issue. I look forward to returning now thanks to this fix!

Yes, as indicated above, this was a request to remove snow from Arelith's snowy areas, with Skaljard being the main culprit for potential performance problems. Skaljard has a 100% snow rate, and never stops snowing.

That's arelith Skaljard isn't it?
