Description
The standard issue weapon of COG Gears during the 80 years long conflict know as the "Pendulum Wars"

It works you can see it in game and i tried to balance it. ( you might have to screw around with the numbers yourself) it does a good bit of cutting damage in melee. i advise using the camera+ mod so you can really zoom in on it to appreciate my third rate texture. (the scale is off and i am trying to fix it but idk what im doing so ya)

I got tired of not finding any Gears of War mods on the workshop, so i decided to make my own. But im pretty trash at it so i picked Rimworld because 2d and i dont have to 3d model. i learned xml enough to make a weapon mod.

I making some other Gears of War stuff but like i said im bad a this kind of thing so i only wish it inspires someone that can really make mods that look good and function so i dont have to do it myself.

sorry fam, that is probably the best i could do. I was close to releasing more and had 100+ models all done up. then a microsoft update deleted the folder off my flash drive and left a sour taste in my mouth. That on top of a rimworld update broke the mod list i was using. i havnt played rimworld since.

Feel free to try yourself, i linked the video tutorials i used to get started.

Please update the models in game....I love the idea of Gears Weapons/Armor but this gun looks terrible lmao.

Ah yes the errors. Ya sorry about that especialy on this one being my first. Ill get around to it when i switch my hardrive over to new pc. I just ignore most errors but ya i should fix it for all you normal people. if i get this modding thing down to a science im going to combine some stuff into one mod.

hey dude, real quick heads up, an error popup from your mod, thankfully it looks like an easy fix as as far as I can tell it's just angry that you have some uppercase and lowercase it doesn't like.

stats oh my. well i made it so it does 12 cut damage when a pawn pokes people with the barrel for reasons (THE BIG STABY STICK) besides that i jsut tried to get it in game and function. if i remember what set it as it does more damage than a LMG and fires in a burst of 4. In game it looks a little big on ta person because im still getting used to what to set the scale as. i thought it looked good enough for publication so here it is. If you get Notepad++ you can edit the <Defs></Defs? and change the damage and stuff yourself. it might be hard to find because steam gives everything a random number and letter code that you download off the workshop. hope i helped

so what are the weapons stats? as well what does it look like in game on a pawn?

Yes i hope to do just about all of that if i am capable. I just recently learned how to make armor. now i just need to learn how to make it all one mod, finish the Pendulum Wars stuff i wanna do, learn how to scale stuff properly, and maybe try and get some people that know what they are doing to help make Imulsion a thing and the Hallows biome for DeepRim or impassible mountains.

Are you going to make a locust race and do alot of gears of war creatures and stuff like that, cuz i would love to do a gears of war playthrough, especially with rim cities
