Description
The Golden Colts from The Specialists Half-Life mod, based on Castor Troy's gold-plated Springfield Armory M1911-A1s from the film Face/Off. I would credit the exact modeler but multiple people are listed in the mod's credits. Includes the firing sound from the mod as well. As these were my main guns in TS, I wanted to bring them to Maximum Action for my first try at making something. Let me know of any suggestions for improvement.

Chiclets and Nicolas Cage acting skills not included.

I won't lie to you, the first gun I attempted to make I had that problem. I tried porting a gun from Max Payne 2 and it just wouldn't load the damn material. I'm still working on getting that right.

With this one, I decompiled the .mdl file in Milkshape, imported the .qc, exported as .3ds, imported the .3ds in Blender, then exported as .fbx.

Hey I am attempting to make my own weapon mod. I got as far as to having the pistol in my hand, but it wont read the texture file I left in the folder. How did you attach the texture to your gun??
