Description
The BR 101 – the engine that hauls the vast majority of German InterCity trains, in addition to some more categories in the past. Manufactured in 145 copies from the late 1990's, this is the successor to the legendary class 103.

Good old IR. Further typically locomotives before/next to 101 were 110, 111 and 112 (0 or 1, 143 sister). 111 and 112 sometimes on both sides instead of control car for push/pull on electrified tracks. Diesel power 232, 234, 219 and 229. Some 234 had also the right connection for the control car. Just as information for your further CS trains :steamhappy:
