The "Serenity", an UC12 Humpback, civil modified version.

The UC12 "Icarus" was heavily damaged in an asteroid belt, and shut down subsequent. A civil crew salvaged it from scrapyard and rebuild, renamed, and heavily modified it.

Most of the cargo containers were removed to have more space for the crew.

Many systems we're added over the years, including solar panels, oxygen farms, a gravity generator, medical bay, cryo, interior turrets, a camera, spotlights, atmosperic thrusters, one hydrogen thruster. At the moment they are looking for some atmosperic maneuvering thrusters.

The Serenity is most likely the only UC12 that can actually land on a planet - and leave it again. With the solar and the farms they are pretty much independent from supplies, allowing to go underground for some time.

Use cases: transports, supply, smuggling, salvaging, rescue missions, passenger transport, blockade running, ...
