ACH made a welcome return to New Japan in 2018 as an A Block participant in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. A shining talent in the ring, ACH unfortunately only earned six points during block play, the same amount of points he earned during his 2017 run, thus failing to secure a spot in the finals. Watching him dance to Tetsuya Naito’s entrance music on the final night of the tournament was proof positive that despite only winning three of his matches, he would not let such matters dampen his playful spirit.

ACH wrestled for New Japan on American shores at Fighting Spirit Unleashed, teaming with Jushin Thunder Liger and Ryusuke Taguchi to defeat Roppongi 3K. The following month, ACH and Taguchi (known as Super 69) competed in their second Super Jr. Tag League together. They had reached the finals the year prior when it was still a single elimination tournament, but this year they did not achieve the same level of success. Super 69 scored six points (including a victory over reigning IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champions El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru), but it was not enough to get them to the finals. Adding insult to injury, ACH was the one who took the fall in all four of Super 69’s losses in the tournament. ACH wrestled one more multi-man tag match at Power Struggle and that was all she wrote for his 2018 New Japan run.
