Description
Paddle Steamer Clifton
Designed as a short range ferry and tourist boat, the Clifton can't keep up with modern ships but can get you places in style.

Features
11 knot top speed
Replica steam engines
Working paddles (no propellers on board except the lifeboat)
GPS autopilot (credit to tajin)
Differential steering (paddles assist in steering meaning she can turn on the spot like a tank)
Working anchor
6 life rings
Ships tender/lifeboat
Animated bilge pump
Toilet that definitely doesn't just drop into the sea
2 sinking methods

To start
Enter engine room from the side door
Head down the ladder
Hold the button labelled 'light boiler' until you see the boiler is lit
You can now enter the wheelhouse and throttle up
Note
By default the throttle is set at 0.8, this is the minimum throttle at which you wont run out of power. You can go higher if you want but you'll burn fuel quicker

To stop
Enter engine room
Set lever labelled 'Main steam flow valve' to 0

To refuel
Clifton features 2 fuel tanks which are referred to as coal bunkers. Each has it's own fuel gauge near the boiler and it's own refuel port on deck near the funnel.
To refuel:
Grab fuel line from refuelling source
Attach to deck mounted connector
When done refuelling, press 'release coal chute'

To use the tender
Press the button labelled 'release tie down'
The boat will then begin swinging freely
Hope aboard and hold the down arrow until you are more or less at water level
Press the 'drop' button and the connectors will release

To sink
Clifton features 2 very different sinking methods that can be combined for a more immersive experience
Boiler explosion
Head around the back of the boiler
Turn the key labelled 'Boiler explosion' (you dont have to turn the 'dynamic sinking' but i recommend it)
The engine will change sound and begin to over-rev
After a while the boiler will explode, blasting a hole in the hull
The engine room will rapidly flood and begin leaking into other areas of the ship
Be warned this happens quite fast
Dynamic sinking
Head around back of boiler
Turn the key labelled 'dynamic sinking'
Next you need some waves - enough to submerge the bow
Once enough water is over the forecastle door, it will crack open and leak
Over time, the bow will begin to sag lower until the watertight doors to the engine room begin to fail too
She'll sink bow first which can making launching the boat a challenge
This method can take longer depending on the size of the waves

I launched the lifeboat but then it got stuck on the cranes as the boat sank and it capsized. One of the most epic sinkings I've ever been on!
