I think the brakes are delayed a little after applying. It's been awhile since I've driven that route.

similar experience no train brake and if safety tripped could not get to reset would be the hardest shunt have handled so far but well done

Cool, keep it going. :)

Made it! Ran without using train brake - left at 17%. Take me a long time as I was keeping speed down due to the lack of train brake, using only dynamic and loco brake. Great Stuff! On to #4...

Cool, let me know how it works out.

Yep. Ran scenario #3 with brakes on 17% from the beginning and essentially let the train stop itself when needed, now and again using dynamic and loco brake. No problems there. Might try #2 again now.

If I remember right if you leave the brake on around 20 to 24% and never release it you can still apply throttle, it is much easier to manage speeds and also the dynamic brake helps at times. The dynamic brake takes a little bit to engage so just watch the HUD and you notice and also heard when it is applied.

Stuck. Train brakes wont come off. Brake pressure keeps rising and won't come down even with loco off. A DTG problem with this loco. Otherwise scenario is great as usual, but I don't feel like restarting this one.

I clear my cache when i get coupling problems when in-game. seems to help.

atlast completed.. had a lot of trouble when i was shunting the empty hoppers to the quarry siding the loco was derailing everytime. and even the coupling was showing red. after a bit of trial and error and coupling and uncoupling placed the empty hoppers just on the siding as well as on the main track.. seemed to do the trick. could continue with the locos to stop at just beyond gold hill siding..
