Few people obliterated jobbers and threw themselves into wild brawls like Buzz Sawyer did. Sawyer lived up to his Mad Dog nickname in the ring and out with his deadly powerslams and suplexes, beating his opponents into the mat. In the NWA, he initially teamed with the Road Warriors as part of the Legion of Doom before splitting to team with his brother, Brett, and engaged in a bloody, violent feud with Tommy Rich.

Sawyer's showings in the WWF were brief, but memorable in their carnage, managed by Captain Lou Albano, and feuds would follow in UWF with ♥♥♥♥ Slater and Kerry Von Erich in World Class, before going back to what was then WCW to take on the Four Horsemen.
