This mod will work in any mode, but you have to install the improved skill trees mod- which will mess up your skill trees in records, So short answer- no, not really

I assume this won't work with the records mode since improved skill trees mod is for romance only according to workshop page?
TWcenter page does not mention the romance only. Is it outdated or just missing that information?

Love your improved skill trees mod, so I'm definitely going to give this mod a try with a new campaign tomorrow. Will comment my feedback after I've played to mid-late game and report any bugs or oddities that pop up.

I downloaded the steam version of this- and indeed my game crashed, ive got an update coming later today that adds alot more content so sorry about that, please stay tuned

Ive noticed that w this mod- the AI end turn will have a weird hang up and sometimes windows will suggest closing the program or waiting to respond, it however- never crashes if you let it "think"
not sure what is causing this, but will look around
