Rod of Fast Buffing (PRC edition)

Description
Note although this says the `PRC edition` it just means it is compatible. It should still work as before in non-PRC modules.

This is an update to the original Extended Rod of Fast buffing to make it more compatible with the PRC and new EE mods.

The Extended Rod of Fast Buffing is designed to remove the tedium of buffing your characters. To use the rod you first have to prime it. You prime it by casting a spell on it. This stores the spell id. You can prime it with as many spells as you like. Then after rest, you can use the rod to fast cast all your buffs at once. This is not a charged item that stores the spell, you must have the spell memorized (or spontaneous casters need an open slot). Currently the NWN1 version doesn't have any way to store meta-magiced spells

For a player you can just subscribe to the mod and use the console to get the item in locally

(note, you must hit the ~ key before tying this commands in
DebugMode 1
dm_spawnitem extrodfastcast
DebugMode 0

You can have as many rods as you want. I usually keep 2 or 3 (one for long term buffs, one for short and sometimes a third for party members)

There is also an .erf file for you to import it directly into your mod or PW.

Compatibility
This version of the Rod is still compatible with everything it supported before: Anything using tag-based scripting. In addition it supports anything using the PRC. This includes all of the PRC versions official campaigns.

Unfortunately, only HOTU uses tag based scripting so you won't be able to use the Rod for the first 2 modules out of the box when using vanilla versions, however another helpful modder has created OC modules with just the Rod and not the PRC. unfortunately, I found a couple of spells from PRC that rod doesn't remember

Perfect! Thank you very much! My HotU has PRC and everything works for me.

A must-have mod, but unfortunately it's not working even in HotU for me. I tried to delete each of `extrodfc.ncs` and `is_extrodfc.ncs', it didn't help. I would love to use it in SoU and HotU...

Wizard spells work, but archivist spells don't seem to function.

FYI Archivist is still using the old PRC spellbook.

It didn't seem to work for me either. Best advice I can give is dedicate one of your hotbars to your buffs and put them in a line. You can also ask companions to buff up your team. What I do is this:
Hold shift or ctrl to show another hotbar, and then drag all the buffs you need there. Then when the time comes, you'll have most or all of them readily available.

Maybe I didn't get it. I'm playing cleric, so I want the rod to store 11 spells like Light or Bull's strength. When I cast a spell on a rod (like I'd cast it on myself), I get an error 'the spell can't be casted to an item that cannot be used' or kinda.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to use this in Hordes of the Underdark (in MP if that matters) and can't seem to cast spells on the rod. How does one go about making it work?

The link to non-PRC ROFB compatible OC modules is broken, FYI

So no meta-magic spells currently? aka no extended-buffs? Will this be added in the future?

Great to know you are still around and modding. The original Rod made playing a caster so much more fun, thank you. :)
