i swear i saw some sort of green tall man behind me playing this?

It was designed to be a puzzle that played into the theme of the level, a level which gradually became more secretive and obscure the closer you got to the end (wall trick, button 1 placement). The End does indicate that the time piece is in the platform (it's not like you didnt know where it was), there's a lot of signs for that, One last moment of wonder that is meant to make the player hesitate on how to proceed was what I was going for.

I'll keep it in mind though, I need to see some other levels with similar endings to decide how I feel about it in future.

Look, most of the level was cool, but the end was... unotthodox for no reason, any signs, arrows, or whatever indicating how to acquire the time piece would be gladly appreciated.
