Description
Version: 2.5.X

A small mod that makes transportation throughout the Galaxy a little less cumbersome.

Features:

Ships out of combat have a cruising speed, equal to a 100% speed boost.
Default Hyperlane Windup time is reduced from 15 days to 7.
Hyperdrive speed increased 10x - transportation is near instantaneous once you hit the hyperlane.
Jump Drive Range increased to 250
Jump Drive Windup decreased to 1 day
Jump Drive Cooldown decreased to 30 days.

Jump Drives are now a highly viable technology that both players and AI can take advantage of. Maintaining a quick response force to intercept any deep striking armies is imperative. Overall transportation times between systems are cut almost in half, about a 45% reduction give or take.

You can change the values yourself pretty easily. The code is all commented so feel free to tweak.

is there any slightly less ridiculous version of this mod? It's a bit too much for my taste.

It sounds like this mod has a conflict with the Infinity Stones Mod. I haven't ever used it myself. Try commenting out any code in my files relating to jump drives - that should make them compatible.

i love this mod, i really do, but combined with the infinity stones mod and activating the space stone for its +1000% jump drive distance causes some error where now no ship can use its jump drive.

I was originally going to just thumb up the mod for that picture alone, but that actually sounds interesting, i'll give it a shot.
