Basilisk Hover-Tank

Callsign: HoneyBadger
Basilisk-Class, Repulsor-lift Battlefield Fire-support vehicle.
Functions as: a Main Battletank, Artillery Platform, Anti-Air Defence and Space Marine Dropship.
(it cannot fly but can be dropped from orbit*, with the repulsors slowing decent)

Crew: Driver, 2 Gunners and a Squad of 8 Space Marines (2 Heavy, 6 Assault)
The Main Turret is armed with twin, direct-fire 80mm Railguns -at full power their range is only limited by planetary curvature, but can be 'dialled-down' to allow indirect fire (like a Mortar/Artillery), in this mode the repulsors are reversed and the Tank locks-on to whatever surface it's on, for maximum stability.
The 2 Gunners each control a side turret, armed with a Heavy Plasma Cannon and a Multimode Missile Launcher, each covering a 210 degree arc of fire to each side.

Also has an Ejector-seat built into the Turret, to deploy glider equipped marines high above the battlefield.
(simply climb into the seat in the roof and hit jump) -this isn't working as well as it used to, might've been a bug that's been squished since I last tried it. It still pops you out through the roof, just not very high.

Note: The stairs can be removed, they'd only really be deployed when parked at base.

* my hope (if we ever get fully rotatable BP's) is to make a version of one of my Dragon-Class Battlecruisers carrying one of these tanks upsidedown, underneath, in its Claws ;) I'd just need some cheesy 80's action music to go with it ;)
