Desert Tempest 1 - Alternate - Shock and Awe

Desert Tempest is an as-if campaign set in an alternative timeline where the Kuwaiti invasion happened not in 1991 but instead in 2024.

This alternate version consolidates most aircraft in single airbases by type.




Operation desert storm began with a extensive bombing campaign against Iraq for 42 consecutive days.

This mission is based on the extensive bombing campaign but with more modern aircraft.

Its January 16th 2025 and the biggest air offensive in modern military history is about to begin.
Coalition forces have deployed all their assets to KSA an are preparing for an extensive air campaign against Iraq.

The offensive will occur in phases, with phase 1 destroying the enemy air-defenses. Phase 2 will occur concurrently and involves destroying enemy aircraft. Phase 3 involves bombing key targets within Iraq.

You will be using the latest equipment avaiable to western forces in this mission.
