MGee's Vanilla Highways

Description
Vanilla XCom version of my highways mod, for those who play LW2 or don't have WOTC.

Almost all the same ridiculous fast paced maps included (no tunnels), lots of tough movement choices to make, bad cover to hide behind, and vehicles to explode. No the reaper is not going to have a field day on this one, but rockets, grenades, and shredder guns will provide the hilarity.

Includes 5 plots and all the parcels needed to make them work.

This one is not plagued by the problems related to the WOTC dev kit!

1. Wow that is a super rare chance sort of thing, I'll look for it and fix it, I try testing for this sorts of things but one or two might slip through
2. this one sounds like a level didn't load properly, the mod might have to be reinstalled, or another mod is conflicting with it. This happens when then required distance to the objective is too big for the map and instead of trying to recalculate a spawn point that fits the distance, it spawns the objective in no mans land. I oversized the maps the bit to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen, but some mods require larger distances

Have run into two bugs on this.
1) at the edge of the map a one of the three-wheeled cycles was side-by-side with a flat-bed truck.You could move up into the bed of the truck, then jump down into the space between to use the truck as cover - but there was no way out. Had to use the teleport to cursor command.
2) On a recover item mission the item was in the woods off the highway (the yellow floating icon I think) showing you the location - but the box was not visible or interactive so could not complete the mission.
It does have some fun "yikes" moments like one exploding 18-wheeler setting off 2 or 3 more for a truly huge fireball (my bleeding-out soldier was not quite as happy with it...)

I tried this one out on my current vanilla campaign. Run, run, run! On the plus side, the pods get spread out on this map, so once the blue moves indicate no trouble, movement is easy & swift.

Can’t seem to work on hack missions. Other than that, a refreshing change.

too bad you can't make Advent play Frogger.
