Would be nice if the playermodel without a nameplate were available in the model selector, but for those wondering yes there is a working playermodel that does not have a nameplate.

@scottschaller Hey Scott. Would you be able to add me? I wanted some pictures of a uniform used in the movie. The models currently in use for SST need an update and I wanted to commission someone to remake them.
