Description
Former Hollywood Blond Buddy Roberts joined up with Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy in the late 70's to form The Fabulous Freebirds, initially to team with Gordy and allow Hayes to serve as the group's mouthpiece. The trio would go on to win tag titles all across the NWA in the 80's, with each member recognized and able to defend as champions in any combination.

Roberts was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.
