Description
Jimmy "Jam" Garvin, originally "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin, began wrestling in the late 60's, and made his way through the territories throughout the 70's and 80's.

In 1989, Garvin officially joined The Fabulous Freebirds in WCW, although he had been aligned with the group previously for a number of years. Garvin and Michael Hayes captured the WCW World Tag Team and WCW United States Tag Team titles each twice before leaving WCW in 1992.

Garvin was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 as a member of the Freebirds.

He was great outside the Freebirds, and although I don’t think he was out of place there, it was definitely a different era for that team.

To me, Gorgeous Jimmy never belonged as a Freebird. His best work was definitely in World Class and AWA, especially his tag team with Mr. Electricity Steve Regal.
