Description
Close-Quarters Agricultural Mayhem! CQB/CQC action in a topographically varied farm environment!

The Saucer Farm was once a peaceful, family owned domain, used for grain and equipment storage, as well a cozy home. But everything changed when the Ravens commandeered it as a strategic reconnaissance point! Defend the farm as Raven from the rearmost position by the grain silos, or mount the roadside offensive as Eagle as they attempt to storm the barns, caves and farmhouse!

Every flag is unique and thoughtfully balanced. The cave rock formation is an excellent vantage point, but is wide open to attack! The Farmhouse flag is on the second floor past a single staircase; an offensive seems impossible, but oh, most of the house’s respawns seem to occur in the cellar, how convenient! Likewise, some of the silo’s spawn points are in… the actual silos? Tactics!!!

Every flag is possible to capture fairly! Vary your offensive routes, or familiarize yourself with every nook and cranny as you explore new vantage points, and fight for your right to have inoperable agricultural vehicular equipment litter the battlefield!

Reccommended: 40 bots Point Match, or 50 bots Skirmish. Anti armor and grenade launchers disabled.

I find that bum rushing the barn house in the beginning is key because that point is the main issue of why AIs get stuck in Silo.

i actually moved silo flag a bit forwards to make it more cappable. Them not leaving silo isnt really them defending it, so much as it is them taking advantage of the plentiful cover that it offers, before going into a full offensive. They're also usually fine at silo unless it is their last point... though it may be possible that since 2 of silo's 3 adjacent flags offer very little room for sneaking or flanking, that bots have a harder time attacking in those directions...

Idk. I find that when red starts losing, usually it's the player's input that turned the tides so drastically. Playing on Battle mode, the match can really go either way, but on point match... i think it's normal for a 5-flag map to favor one team slightly.

Hmm...I do think that maybe Silo spawn position is too far back. The team that holds Silo (especially when its their last point) seems to lose quite often. The AI also seem to love to defend Silo, even though I didn't use the battle plan. As a result, they never try to leave Silo.

Giving my two cents, bots tend to take certain routes more than others. From Barn to Silo, they use they'll use the staircase up to Silo. From Barn to Blue Spawn, they'll take one of two routes, through a door in one of the houses at Blue Spawn or from the top before going down to Blue Spawn. I admit, this is my experience from playing the map a few times but bots are quite predictable.

Best way to anticipate a bot is to continuously look at the map for them (your ally bots will pinpoint the enemy's location and show it to you) unless that's not how you want to play. Instead, you could get the Deployable Shield mod if you find yourself getting screwed over too often. It blocks AI's line of sight to you so they don't fire, giving you control of where cover is.

It is a bit of a desperate melee, but there are ways to mitigate this. I usually try to skirt the perimeter of the map, or just play defensively in the barns whenever possible. Helps to play on a lower bot count, and to travel with a squad.

no there are no bugs just I find it impossible to survive on this map. I'm just warning newcomers to expect to live less than 30 seconds. Usually I find ways to use cover for moving safer but this map has bots moving all round so there is no way to watch your back.
