#1 The extraction for the ambush mission is triggered by elapsed time, 18-20 minutes. Though I have considered including enemy kill count as well to incentivize engaging the enemy.
#2 If you are playing a night mission with a faction that doesn't have NVGs you are supposed to have a full moon to give some light. I've noticed that some terrains very in terms of how bright the moon is however. Otherwise playing a night mission with one of these factions will be more difficult.
1) What are the conditions for a ambush type mission to progress? I spent a fair amount of time just running around the map yesterday trying to trigger the exfiltration message, but nothing happened. Is it just a set amount of time or is it something else?
2) I've had a nighttime mission generated for me, but the units I got didn't have access to NVG. Granted, it wasn't *completely* dark and we had lights attached to our rifles, but it still meant that the mission was disproportionally difficult. Is this something the mission looks out for, to make sure that you're not put in complete darkness if you're playing militia types or similar? Or should we simply wade in, lights switched on, knowing that we're visible from miles away?
