This version is lacking the Extinction cards, since they add little in terms of strategy. Instead, each player can see their 3 soonest upcoming cards, in order to devise a strategy on how to proceed (think of it like Tetris, in a sense)

We do plan to update the game with some more interesting and rarer cards to pop up from now and then, including the extinction events. When that time arrives, the players will be able to toggle these special cards on and off to their liking.
