Thought i should mention, the ai seems to think its possible for large units to go through the bridges that are only big enough for infantry

You absolutely have to issue "chain commands" by holding shift and telling any given unit to perform several commands one after another as they complete the prior task. If you don't do that, it's too much micro-management early on and the AI will immediately gain a tactical advantage. This AI is no computer to sleep on

I play axis, not a fan of USA or GB in vCOH or Russia in eastern front. Anyway, i find US forces to be a problem when they build a weapons support center first, instead of a barracks. If they put a few HMG's with mortars behind them up fast, it's a problem early on because Wher can't get mortars till tier 2 which requires resarch, it gives USA forces the upper hand vs Wher when it comes to grabbing up the best choke points early on. Where wher get you are all those pioneers swarming the map right away. To counter that if you don't like using MG's and mortars, use Jeeps, like spam them and wipe the pioneer squads out fast to get tactical advantage on any map
