An upgrade on the M28,the M28-30 was developed to improved upon it's design.The main changes were the sights,being more accurate,and a new barrel of higher quality.There was also an update in the magazine to make it "jam free" (which was marked stamping the letter HV on the side),and a different trigger mechanism,among other small design changes that made the rifle an extremely reliable and accurate gun (it was even used in shooting competitions).Simo Häyhä used one of those competition rifles,and managed to kill 259 people with it during the Winter War
