Actually, if you were to subscribe to a Galil Ace mod (there's one floating around the workshop), you turn your Galil into an Ace (which is basically a modernized Galil. Go figure). The IRL Ace has 4 variations: The 22, 22N, 32, and 52. Of those, you only need to pay attention to the 22 and 32. The 22 is chambered for the 5.56 and uses Galil mags. The 32 on the other hand is chambered for the 7.62x39 used in the AK and uses standard AK mags. If you subscribed to both mods, you're still technically within the realm of reality.
