Taifun class Destroyer (VAN)

The Taifun class is the long awaited replacement to the Zeus class of destroyer, of which most were either old, worn out ships that have served for nearly a century, or destroyed in either the Colony Revolts, or the Xanthi war. While they were the replacement ships, they were put into service just after the war, and thus missed a chance to prove themselves on the battlefield, however being larger, better armed, and as manuverable as the smaller Hermes class of frigate, they no doubt are a welcome addition to the fleet.
