In game open menu, then Incidents, scroll down to needful name of incident, click to activate.
Then sun will stop and can be even reached.
Stationpedia page about pumpkin pie will set it free again.

It doesn't work (no button to open incidents) in actual game version. Could you repair it?

You can activate the incidents in survival mode too.
Can write incidents into the worldsettings, like ruins spawning on Loulan. To make the world of endless day.

A must have when building in creative. Never more be limited by sunlight.
