Dynamic Combat - Frackin Races+Universe edition

Description
This mod introduces some changes to the way combat feels, as well as provide new melee sfx. The intent is to make combat feel faster and hopefully more fun than before. These changes are as follows:

Movement is faster and less slippery in general (platforming is still a pain though, just hold walk during precarious moments).
Melee and Ranged weapons do increased damage.
Melee attacks now require energy (equal to the main damage x 1.75). Hammers and Axes are exempt.
Ranged weapons require increased energy.
Knockback is increased for everything, both melee and ranged weapons.
Shields block all knockback.
A new handheld item that slings the user forward at the expense of energy. Intended as a dodge alternative to the shield. Requires a diamond for crafting.
New melee sound effects.
Altered 2hander melee abilities.
(More changes to come!)

The fact that this mod is done through scripts means it should be compatible with almost any kind of custom weapon.

This version is compatible with Frackin Races, but also requires Frackin Universe.

I can confirm the metadata file change works, at least on my end. Unpacked a version of this mod locally, added the line to the metadata file, and FU guns are working again.

If MotdSpork is correct, then the fix is simply to add this in your _metadata files:

"includes" : ["frackinuniverse","frackinraces"]

That would force this mod to load after FU and FR.

After further testing it might actually have to do with mod load order. So the mod is still incompatible with FU since that update that changed combat scripts. However if this mod is loaded after that, I think it works fine. Which might be why you or I don't have any issues yet some others are.

It's odd because when i host a server for my friends and I, I'm able to use the RNG weapons just fine but neither of them can. Seems that the host is able to use RNG weapons but other players than join can't? I'll do further testing.

If you are experiencing issues, please tell me your FU version. I tested both v5.6.374 and v5.6.375, and it works fine.

they dont shoot you just hold them

@Glorious Are you sure about that, are you using the latest FU, because the weapon update changed rng weapons and when using this mod they would just not fire at all.
