It's 50 years ago since a human being set allegedly, for the first time of human history, a step on the moon.

Inspired by this event, I searched through all kinds of pictures, assets books, and newspaper articles, to get inspiration for this project.

2 weeks ago I startet this project and finally I can share it with you.

I had to tweak some parts, like the cobalt logo. I added some stars, to make it look closer to the NASA logo and let it look more space program like.
Beside recreated original warning decals from the apollo 11 and space shuttle program, with photoshop.

In the lower part is a cat door, It gives the whole thing something personal and unique.
Since a person lives behind this door, he propably has a pet. There are also marks of use like stickers and notes on the door.

At last, I added for the authenticty, the DSKY (DISPLAY KEYBOARD) APOLLO GUIDANCE COMPUTER on the inside. The display is emissive, helpful when you got stuck in your base at night, to navigate when you have no torch or light at hand.
