Yokohama (Scripted Setup)

Description
Once Yokohama was just a fishing village, but now at the beginning of the Meiji era it's becoming a harbor open to foreign countries and one of the leading trade cities of Japan. As a result, many Japanese products such as copper and raw silk are collected in Yokohama for export to other countries. At the same time, the city is starting to incorporate foreign technology and culture, with even the streets becoming more modernized. In the shadow of this development was the presence of many Yokohama merchants.

In YOKOHAMA, each player is a merchant in the Meiji period, trying to gain fame from a successful business, and to do so they need to build a store, broaden their sales channels, learn a variety of techniques, and (of course) respond to trade orders from abroad.

It's a good game, folks didn't mind playing a little longer I guess :)

Oh, wow! How did I miss a step in setup, and how did no-one else catch this in over 2 years?

It's fixed now. Thanks for finding it!

Hi! Thanks for the mod, it confirmed my desire to pickup a physical copy of this game.

My first playthrough with the mod seemed to take a really long time and I realize it was because your setup does not remove any order cards from the deck! See step 9 on page 4. If you don't want your automated setup to do this step, I would send a message to the players that they have to do it themselves.

Thanks again, good mod!

Now is ok! Thank You!

Sure. Please be more specific though. Everything works fine on my end.

Hi. There are down links you could update them. Please!!!

I loaded up the mod again to test the setup and it worked. Next time my gaming group gets together I'll see if they want to play.

I do notice a slight difference with the lighting, however, there is no real contrast between the table color and the game components. Could the table color be changed to a dark color instead? I tried changing it and most of the components flip out during the change out.

Okay! It may have taken me months, but I finally figured out why people with slow load times couldn't get all the components spread out on the table. I had a 60 frame delay on removing the containers from the game, which was good enough for people with fast load times. Now that I realized that, I found a way to have them wait till all the cards are dealt before the containers get removed.

Sorry about that @Prevail and @ SpiderJack. If you are even still following this thread, please let me know if this change fixed your issues.

Oh, and I dimmed the light slightly, as per request.

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

I tried this tonight and three things of note.

1) The yellow table background is super bright and makes the game hard to see. This can be overcome by changing the lightning intensity.

2) The 5-power tokens were not distributed.

3) The building site cards were not distributed.

Items 2 & 3 made the game unplayable.
