Description
This mod gives you more control on mods and it management

This is especially helpful as all we know steam workshop sometimes bugs and do not deliver last version of mods, so you can know for sure if this is your issue and force update it as well automatically!

To activate: subscribe to mod, then activate it in "Mods" list, from game starting screen. Restart will require.

All issues should be reported to github: https://github.com/O-n-y/oxy.mods
Can be also downloaded from github: https://github.com/O-n-y/oxy.mods/releases/

All news and additional information about mods development are in Discord: https://discord.gg/n9FhwzQFAV

Functionality
  • Fast - great performance when managing 100+ mods.
  • Mods Filter - the ability to filter mods by name and author, especially handy when you have a lot of mods
  • Mods Auto-updater (will check and if needed update all mods on game launched, togglable option) this check for version miss-match is 100% accurate as it parse data directly from steam workshop changelog and not from cache give by steam from API, so you can be always sure if you have the last version of any mod. Speed of the check will depend on internet speed and steam website availability.
  • Author information - ability to see author name, visit their steam profile page
  • Last update & change log information - ability to see last update date & time, visit change log steam page for the mod
  • Ability to open Mod local folder - very useful if you have mods which store config in files (Windows \ Mac OS \ Linux support)
  • Backup of all mod files before update (backups can be found in /backup folder in /mods root folder, each backup zipped)
  • If failure of internet connection to the Steam site happen during version check it will inform so (you will be able to re-check such a mod from mods list)
  • Ability to unsubscribe from mod within game (from mods list)
  • Ability to see mods version (version should be provided by mod if not it will be determined from .dll file of the mod)
  • Ability to enable / disable all mods by one button
  • Special color for enabled mods from Steam - will be displayed as green
  • Special color for enabled Local mods - will be displayed as blue
  • Reset crash count button (will reset crash count for all mods: mods which have red color in list have crash count > 0), this could be handy in case game failed to do so even after multiple restarts with no crashes
  • Update button to force update mod, which is not updating due to steam cache bug
  • Mod will stay enabled even when other mod crash the game
  • Update all mods functionality - will update all enabled mods (access: "Update All" button in mods list)
  • Ability to open log folder (Windows \ Mac OS \ Linux support)
  • Ability to hide disabled (not active) mods
  • Ability for mod makers to set links to their Github, Discord and Patreon (see below)
  • Dynamic height of Mods window, to respect scaling ratio (if you have UI scale set not to 100%)
  • More compact and informational UI - window size and multiple buttons adjusted for more convenience
  • Choose if you want to update - you can choose if you want to update mods or stay within existing version

* - Won't change colors for crashed mods, so you will be able still to see it.

Supports as .dll mods as mods, which do not have .dll (for example translations or world gen).

-----> Troubleshooting <-----
  • Make sure you activated mod in Mods list in-game and restarted the game.
  • Make sure you use the last version of mod, to do so: use my other mod Mod Manager and use Update button in mods list to force update mod via Mod Manager, which will require a game restart (Steam can often give you outdated version, my mod made to solve this).
You can check current actual version number in changelog here:
    https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/changelog/1843965353
And you can check which version of the mod you exactly have by checking .dll version inside the mod folder: \mods\Steam\1843965353\
  • If you have game crash and have other mods, disable those mods, restart the game (or it won't take any effect) and try again.
  • Clear mods files cache, this should be done not from steam client menu option, but directly via file manager (explorer), in my discord, there is a guide on how to do so https://discordapp.com/channels/611802435220144148/612697981740777494/732211642410205260 (you should join Discord first, link below)

Thanks to your other mod (Mods Presets Organizer (MPOrganizer) by @Ony), I was able to troubleshoot the issue more effectively.

With my current setup of over 90 active mods, I found that when I use Mod Manager (also by @Ony) together with Sweepn't – Ignore Sweep and Fetch, my FPS drop down to around 30.

When I use all three mods (Mod Manager, Sweepn't – Ignore Sweep and Fetch, and Bigger Camera Zoom Out), I only experience minor lag spikes.

However, in combination with my full mod list (around 90 mods), the game becomes unplayable.

I’d like to mention that I suspect Sweepn't – Ignore Sweep and Fetch is the main cause of the performance issues, not the other mods like Bigger Camera Zoom Out.
I'm aware that zooming the camera out can reduce FPS, but the drops I'm seeing seem more related to Sweepn't. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2957155887

When obtaining the Author nickname/real name, a network anomaly occurred, and unlimited retries were initiated, filling up a large number of log . When moving the enabled mod from dev to local, the game crashes at startup. Only by deleting the mod.json can the game be started. Normally, the game detects the dev deletion and installs the mod locally

Good evening, @Ony!

"I was aware that this is how it's handled in the mods window – but I'm talking about the actual game, in-game itself.

When I have the mod enabled and move the camera from left to right, I experience noticeable FPS drops (there's stuttering in that moment) – from a stable 120 FPS down to 90 or even 50 FPS.

As soon as I disable the mod, the issue disappears completely, and I'm back to playing at a steady 100–120 FPS."
Ony  [author] 10 Jul @ 6:52am
@༺๖ۣۣۜNatzuki༻ it do limit fps to 60 when mods window is opened, it will however bring it back to which value you had as you close mods list. So this do not affect gameplay at all.

This done for better handling cases when users have many mods, also this should be not notisable for the eyes.

"I tried out the mod because it looked interesting and received an update today.

It seems to work, but unfortunately I'm experiencing significant FPS drops – from a stable 120 FPS down to 80 or even 50 FPS at times when using the mod."

Update, after I think my game is fine, After restart the game / reopening it happen again the notification about this mod and some time ask to restart. So, I try to unsubscribe it again it still give notification about this mod was uninstall 3 run after it reopening and still going. Was it bug in the game? or this mod due to repetition notification about this mod and only this mod, CMIIW.

I try unsubscribe other mod beside this it didn't happen like that.

My only issue with this mod is that ONI crash whenever it try to update it with other mods enabled. I have to disable all mods, restart teh game, then update Mod Manager, restart the game, then reactivate mods, then restart the game. If I don't do that, the update always make the game crash.
