Evil Turret's Impossible Panopticon

Description
I have been asked to publish the following statement.

"I'm the evil turret, and I hate humans! To prove how much I hate you, I have sealed you in this impossible prison! There's no way out of your cell, and all you can see outside are terrible puzzles designed to defeat your will to escape! Even if you did solve them, the security floor is designed to be literally impossible to bypass. And even supposing you make it up here to kill me, you'll never escape! I'll take the secrets of the exit to my grave! HA HA HA!

HA HA HA! HA HA HA HA! HA HA HA! HA HA!

HA HA HA HA! HA HA HA! HA HA HA!"

...and then it just goes on like that for about a dozen pages.

Did you watch from about the 8 minute mark? You'll need to find a way to keep the button pressed without using the funnel . Also, it should be noted that this map gets more unfair the further you progress.

I beat it and I wanted to make sure that I was supposed to be able to. I liked the test a lot.

It's possible, but not pleasant. The solution is available in this video (second half).

Was this actually supposed to be impossible?

Here is a blind demo [www.sendspace.com]

felt like a bit more of an edurance test at some points, all in all was a good map, fun too.
