Motorboat Sakana 2

Description
A versatile small-sized motorboat with active stabilization.
Perfect for use with the RV Kasugano Sora

Licensed under CC-BY, please give credits if you use it in, well, anything. And dont reupload her or any components within without my permission

Spec Sheet
Max Speed : ~25+ m/s Sustain (~50 knots!) Endurance Range : 10 km @ 120 L Internal Tank Seating : 1 seat, 4 strap harnesses Cargo : 1 MagAll Engine : Small Engine, Gearboxed, Reversable Displacement : 540 kg Generator equipped, maintenance-free electrical system

Instructions
Should be very straightforward to use. Get in the chair, hold W and tap 1 to start the engines. Automatic stabilization will engage above 120 RPM, indicated by the instrument panel lighting up. Besides the stabilization, It is also bottom-heavy, so it should be very hard to capsize. Reverser should only be used to back off from sand or RV Kasugano Sora's Well Dock (or similar), as it will constantly pitch down on reverse.

Docking with the RV Kasugano Sora
Open Sora's stern gate, and extend her boat receptacle (Yellow fixture in the middle of the Well Dock), and turn on the magnets with the buttons.
In the Sakana, approach Sora from behind slowly, and once you align it under Sora's boat receptacle, turn on the magnet (key 2). The front magnet will attach immediately, with the rear magnet may or may not attach. Simply slide the receptacle back in again using the button and the rear magnet will follow. Then close Sora's stern gate.

I tested the new gearbox and wow. So much better. The other speedboat should be able to have it done as well.

Makes them so much more controllable, also with a 1x2 micro controller hidden replacing some of the blocks in the ship you can convert your M/S dial to knots (more legal) which honestly I recommend as its what most are use to.

Also you need to update the stats on the ship abit. it's atleast 15km of range now but i couldnt check total ange because one tank doesnt empty/is disconnected

@Talia Kuznetsova neat, I am so detached from stormworks nowadays I dont even know there's 1x1 gearbox now haha, the Sakana is now updated with a small gearbox. Made her 1 block longer, but I'd say it's worth it. For those using her in the Kasugano Sora, I checked the size and it still fits her bay just fine :selphinehappy:

You can now add gearboxes to this due to them adding 1x1 gearboxes. so PLEASE do add them, that will greatly increase its range and also reduce it overheating.

do you want to join one of my drag races

Space being limited, a gearbox unfortunately does not fit. Just got to drag it when launching using the handle at the back

Is there a way to make it reverse so it is easier to launch?

Bigger space for passengers, the ability to carry one cargo crate, better stability in rough seas

What makes number 2 better then number 1?
