2008-2015 Arrow Esimies

In 2008 Arrow was in trouble. They were losing money rapidly due to the company having relatively the same mindset as they did in the 60s, making large inefficient simple vehicles with retro styling. While this did make some car enthusiasts happy a majority of buyers did not want to buy those kinds of vehicles. On top of that America was one year into the Great Recession and the economy was flopping. Desperate to stay afloat Arrow had no choice but to make a modern trendy vehicle that people would actually buy. They partnered with Basura which is the leading brand in electric cars and accepted a deal from the US government that would allow Arrow to receive enough funding to get back on their feet. Arrow took one of Basura's unfinished concept vehicles and gave it more conservative styling so it would pass as being a Arrow product. However there was one problem, at the time Basura's cars were known to have an issue with randomly catching fire for no reason, so to get around that Arrow reverse engineered components from the Delta Jolt without Delta knowing and put those into the vehicle. Arrow launched the Esimies in late 2008 and sold this particular generation until 2015. It was a huge success and on top of the government funding it was enough to get Arrow back in the game. The car itself is a FWD unibody sedan powered by a Basura electric motor which has a top speed of around 90 MPH. When it came out it was still more expensive than most of Arrow's other vehicles but that didn't stop it from selling. The chassis of this vehicle was also used for the police-based Esimies midsize sedan which started production in 2009 but the body and driving components are completely different. As much as the CEO of Arrow tries to ignore that the electric Esimies exists it is in fact a real car.

Based off of the Toyota Prius, Chevrolet Volt, Honda Insight, and has a few hints of Tesla Model S.
