Four Glens - Vanilla Map

Description
A fully vanilla European themed map, ready to be played on anything from the original 9 up to the full 81 tiles.

The workshop is filled with beautiful maps from the Rockies, the Alps, the Himalaya - young mountains still in their growth phase, dominated by jagged peaks and long ridges, rising from wide flat plains. I wanted to represent something several times more ancient; venerable mountains, more rugged and lumpy, full of hidden crevices, dominated less by the heights and more by the deep, wide glacial valleys carved between them. The heightmap I've used as a base here is actually a composite from three original captures, spliced together. Those familiar with British geography may recognise Ben Nevis, with Glen Nevis wrapped around its foot. Pointing at it is Glen Coe and the line of the Aonach Eagach ridge, with the unmistakable Three Sisters keeping watch. On the far side of the map lies the northwestern extreme of the Lake District, where Grasmoor, High Stile and Pillar are separated by the deep valleys of Buttermere and Ennerdale.

Of course, scale in Cities:Skylines and scale in the real world are very different things. This is not a recreation! All types of transport link are catered for, as are all three industrial specialties. There should be plenty of flat land for placing your large footprint buildings, as well as gentle (and less gentle!) slopes for those who want to challenge their sprawling skills! The dam is not huge, but should provide plenty of energy to get you started and its output has been stable throughout my testing. There are a couple of features which only come out at night - if you don't understand what the lighthouses are all about, try going out to sea and lining them up!

This map was originally intended for my own use, but it became something I'm quite proud of so I've released it for your enjoyment and scrutiny too! My first proper upload, so constructive feedback is very welcome.

The map is designed to be played with the Realistic European theme, by Captain Soap: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=627618982
