Description
Sir Oliver Humperdink got his start in the wrestling business in the 60's, initially as a security guard for the AWA. He began working as a manager, referee, and occasional wrestler in Montreal in the 70's, where he started using the Sir Oliver Humperdink gimmick to draw heat.

Humperdink moved to Florida in 1974 to work for Florida Championship Wrestling, then worked for others in the NWA before joining up with the WWF in 1987.

In the WWF, Humperdink managed Bam Bam Bigelow, Paul Orndorffm and the New Wild Samoans. He left for WCW in 1990 and portrayed Big Daddy Dink, a biker gimmick, for a short time that included him managing the Freebirds.
