Eagle-Class Transport Starship (old)

OUTDATED VERSION

A Military Transport and Heavy Lift Platform.
Designed to carry Tanks & other large units into battle.

Raptor Class chassis, modified & re-designated 'Eagle Class' (for use with the Space Marine Corps)
Modelled on the American Bald Eagle.

Callsign: Thorondor
Crew: 6 (Pilot, Co-pilot, Navigator, Sensors/ECM specialist and two Engineers.
Senior Officers: Capt Landroval & LT Meneldor.
Armaments: None (but rumours abound about a sister ship that's armed to the teeth, callsign: Murica)
Large Cargo-Hold for battlefield supplies, troops or a small vehicle, with larger vehicles or cargo being carried in the claws underneath.
Also acts as a fuel carrier and can produce replacement parts with it's onboard 3D printing system (processor/forge +2 storage)
Has incredible lifting power, a virtually indestructible Airframe and even stronger Armour than the Tanks it often carries, earning this model a reputation for rescuing crippled units from unimaginable hellholes during battle*

Can be found on world: serenity-five, in the mountains just northeast of the Spaceport or by going through the Teleport marked 'Tank Bunker' in the TP hub, then follow the ramp up to the surface.
I've built this to look like it's landing or just taking off but should be easy enough if you want to customise, for full in-flight mode: build the back door closed and build the feet closer to the body by losing 2 or 3 blocks from the leg length (so it looks like they've retracted).
For full landed mode: simply flatten the feet by removing the black talons, or rebuilding them to be flush with the ground.

* Also Giant Eagles are a very handy plot device sometimes....
