"Woods of Tannenberg" [SP/COOP 1-4]

The year is 1914.

The greatest imperial powers of the world collide in a new war of unprecedented magnitude. The German Empire, in an attempt to contain Russia's military force quickly to face France and the United Kingdom in the Western Front, has arranged the 8th Army to deal with the Russian offensive that enters East Prussia into German territory, under the command of Paul von Hindenburg and Erich Ludendorff.

Now, the soldiers of both empires dispute the control of East Prussia in a fray that would take place near the town of Allenstein, 30 kilometers from Tannenberg, famous for being the place of the defeat of the Teutonic Knights against the Poles and Lithuanians in 1410. This is the time for Germany to recover from its history.


28th August, 1914.

"The 1st Army is being defeated again and again before the Germans, our soldiers are getting really beaten. However, there are still lines of trenches with companies that refuse to surrender, like ours. We have been informed that to the north of our trench there is a position of German field artillery that we must capture, but the Germans know that we are here, and there have been several waves that we have resisted... But this is the moment, it is our last chance! We will fight for the Tsar, and for Russia!"
