An optional mod for Divine War here by popular demand (4 people's requests) which removes the random encounter boss battles.

So thankful for this mod, for non-broken modded playthroughs Moira is just a random death sentence that ruins the game.

They have an increased chance of appearing the more people you murder, and the chance decreases each time one of your characters dies. They're intended to be a balancing countermeasure as well as a way to punish genocidal players.

I never even encountered a random encounter in my game with divine war yet. I didn't even know this was a thing.

Level 4 aerotheurge solo lone wolf, managed to stun Moira before she even got a turn and she still summoned a zombie right next to me *on her skipped turn* which went immediately after her and killed me from half health. I don't want to use this submod, because I think the concept is wonderful and the fights are designed and balanced to be a lot of fun, but the fact that Godbroken get free passive actions and *spawn right next to you* has made every encounter with them frustrating. Regardless, thank you very much for your work on Divine War! I'm excited for your next mod.

Psst, in Divine War you can also access and use Grasp of the Starved at Level 4.

But yes, she's meant to be hard since a ton of people complained the game was easy. Also there's another boss in Reaper's Coast called Gerald.

Are there other bosses than Moria? I mean, it's really cool idea and I'd gladly fight her, but I've beaten her legitimely once, she just tp'd out, not she appears during any combat I'm getting into like halfway when I have my spells on CD and can't really do shit. ALSO she has like 20 AP casting 2x zombie, Grasp of the starved (im fucking lvl 4), infect, curse and autoattack in ONE TURN.

Don't forget you can run away from her. But yeah, her appearing right next to you is a bug and I apologise for that.

The problem isn't that Moria is a bad idea, the issue is implementation. I was curious as i'm new to the mod just how this would work, because i like the idea of a challenging mini boss that dogs you through the game. What i got made me shake my head in shock...

Having the Enemy AI appear in the middle of combat, appear directly next to the player, and get to instantly go first, followed by summoning a Zombie when the player is already weakened is the issue. The implementation is just bad... because i'm pretty confident i could beat her if i had all my cooldowns, it would probably be a fun little encounter... but it's not all that fun when she spawns in and instantly kills your main character before you can even react.

So i'm glad i can remove it entirely... but i do hope it get reworked to be less broken and unfair feeling.

Mod broke the DW mod, prompts on load that adventure may not work even from fresh start, and very few spells function, Willpower is disabled as well
