Bulldog Modular Frigate VANILLA

I built this as a versatile, upgradeable early game vessel. The ship contains all necessities for 1-2 players to explore space, fight small to medium sized enemies or colonize a foreign planet. Two dedicated upgrade slots on its sides allow for a lot of customization and functional enhancement.

The ship is available both as modded and vanilla. Both are functionally identical, except the modded version has a pressurized crew section too, not just the bridge.

Usage Tips
- The basic ship is very lightweight (about 600000 kg) an is able to fly in atmospheres without consuming hydrogen for lift. turn off the lifting hydrogen thrust control group (action bar 3, next to the ascent override controls) to save fuel.
- The basic ships power and fuel storage capacities require frequent refills, especially when operating in atmospheres. A Small Reactor can replace the Hydrogen Engine very well, and additional Hydrogen Tanks are a prime upgrade for the module slots.
