[OUTDATED / OBSOLETE] - Base Layout REDUX - |4-Track Main|Signals|"AI" Traffic|

Description
!!! NOTE !!!
Due to Rolling Line's recent updates I am unable to get this layout to live up to current Rolling Line standards, as the entire track will have to be relaid and all the stuff would basically have to be remade that it's easier to just start anew. So as is, consider this layout, unfortunately *OBSOLETE

* If I still, somehow, manage to scrape up enough willpower to re-do the whole track anyway, then I will upload that one as an entirely new item rather than overwriting this relic of the Old Line.

Base Layout REDUX, the starter's layout finished, but there's more: Multiroom "Support"!
All rooms in the game have been used and are connected with the entire system, allowing for a massive layout with a track mileage that will make you shiver.

This layout can run, I believe it was 7 trains at once, but that will change during the updates, which I'm planning to roll out in batches. As I haven't really been into Rolling Line for a while and being busy with other stuff, I had to delay the update progress. It's quite a tiresome job to do, and sometimes you just don't feel like doing it. But I will promise you all: It will be worth the wait, as in the end, this layout will be the nominee for longest mileage of connected track in the game.

This is a Pre-Alpha "Sneak-Peek" release, to show you guys what I've been doing, and what my plans are with this layout for the near future. Keep in mind that alot of the new areas are unfinished and are solely having tracks; no trees, houses, or other props/eyecandy yet. I will work on getting all the track sorted out first before adding anything that could obscure its way.

MAIN FEATURES:
* Multiroom Layout.
* One of the longest and largest layouts in the game.
* Quad (4) track main line.
* The ability to run multiple trains at once without having to worry about collisions.
* Lots of sidings and industries.
* A good handful of passenger stations.

A lot of description will likely be missing since after uploading the update it all got erased to default.

Either way, I hope you guys enjoy for now.

Currently working on additional "expo-room" with the custom tables. Might upload an early-alpha sneak-peek soon-ish, but as far as of now, there isn't any scenery yet but the airport. Stay tuned for more!

Great track! I love the straight lines and multiple arrangements.

Take your time we can wait

I can't get the track exactly as how I want it, so the reason for the delay is that I'm scrapping half the map and relaying it so it'll fit while still resembling the model scale scene. I just haven't really gotten the mood to actually finish it off. It's a tiresome process.

I really like this layout. The 4 line main line let's you create lots of different traffic in both directions while still conducting marshaling operations. I look forward to future updates.

I'm working on a massive expansion on this map. I will connect all other rooms on this version and make it one massive layout with tunnels leading through the void of the map. I'm also using the custom table room for this expansion.

Inspiration taken from Miniatur Wunderland, Hamburg.

Thanks. I tried to maintain a similar style to the base layout, which seems to have packed out just fine.

Only the "sliding" trains bug is kicking my head in to actually play Rolling Line...

I agree

This is a really nice addon to the stock map. The switching yards are amazing to look at and fun to actually do switching. I can imagine running a Super Chief across this would be nice too.
