Scoots are rare and wonderous creatures, they range from inferior beings lower than the most inferior low-life species you can think of, to entities from a higher plane of existence far beyond our mere mortal comprehension. If you encounter at least one scoot during your lifetime then it serves as an omen of some sort that we will never understand; Discovering the same reincarnated scoot means that you either may serve a purpose in said scoot's mission or are hindering it, both as a part of destiny.

If a scoot is evenly burned to death by a Pyro's flamethrower then the flames will cleanse the scoot of any evil and allow the scoot to evolve during the next time it reincarnates.
If a scoot is covered with a Sniper's Jarate, then the scoot may be blessed or tainted depending on the Sniper in question, the same applies to being covered with a Scout's Mad Milk. Another scoot's Mad Milk does not benefit or harm a scoot.

Decapitating/Headshooting a scoot with the Eyelander, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, Nessie's Nine Iron, or the Bazaar Bargain will bless you as the head of a scoot serves as a good luck charm; However, letting a scoot's Mad Milk, Bonk! Atomic Punch, Mountain Dew, or Gamer Girl Bath Water get spilled is the uber-charged equivalent of spilling salt laced with kryptonite and cocaine onto a superman cop and his snail buddies.

Every scoot has a defining characteristic, often a haht.

The best scoot hahts are the Magical Mercenary, Pestering Jester, Bonk Helm, Ellis' Cap, Milkman, Gibus, Haunted Hat, Baseball Bill's Sports Shine, Pyrovision Goggles, Bonk Boy, Bottle Cap, and the default hat and headset (no cosmetics).

The best item sets for a scoot are the Special Delivery and the #1 Fan.

Outside of item sets, Bonk! Atomic Punch, Mad Milk, the Flying Guillotine, the Sandman, and the Boston Basher are great weapons for scoots.

Default weepons work too.

Pacifist scoots may instead use taunts such as the Victory Lap, Scooty Scoot, Bunnyhopper, Mannrobics, Conga, Kazotsky Kick, or Zoomin' Broom.

Scoot spreaders will leave behind scoot faces, it is unclear whether the scoots are marking their territory or simply leaving the scoot faces as propaganda posters to promote the scoot way; Either way, Scoot spreaders spread the scoot faces like a plagued missionary.

After spraying a scoot face, the scoot may take the time to embrace it's glory, as seen below.

Scoots will continue to spread the scoot glory even when facing danger:


Scoots are often dominated, but continue their mission anyways.




A scoot spreader's main goal is to spread the scoot face glory, however, if something interferes with the scoot's mission then the scoot may be forced into the game's objectives such as killing the opposing team, capturing intelligence, capturing control points, and various offensive and defensive maneuvers. While the scoot was forced to actually play a role in the game, a scoot may still continue to play properly even once they are given the opportunity to continue their main mission in peace.

These scoots are often seen on 2Fort and DeGroot Keep in particular, although Hightower and Turbine are great alternatives.

These scoots use the Mannrobics, Conga, Kazotsky Kick, Scooty Scoot, Victory Lap, or Zoomin' Broom taunt.
While using the taunt, the scoot will move around and occasionally spray scoot faces in points of interest to said scoot.




Scoots who use the Mannrobics, Conga, or Kazotsky Kick taunts are called dancers, while scoots who use the Scooty Scoot, Victory Lap, or Zoomin' Broom taunt are scoot rovers.

This scoot has the Sandman (or, less prefered, the Wrap Assassin) equipped and will delve into the enemy base, spray a scoot face on the wall, and engage in a game of pong with the wall by throwing the ball at the wall and picking it up rapidly. Along with the automatic ball pick-up voicelines, scoot may also spam "MEDIC!", "Need a dispenser here", and "Need a teleporter here" voicelines. The scoot may continue it's game of wall pong until the enemy team kills the scoot and guards their base more heavily solely to prevent more irritating cases of wonderful scoot wall pong.

This scoot will have the Boston Basher equipped and will go around hitting players and using the "MEDIC!" and "Need a dispenser here" voicelines.

This scoot cannot survive without hitting something often and is addicted to it, but was cursed and forced to use the Boston Basher. This scoot will hit it's target, and if it misses it will suffer from the damage and bleeding effect of the Boston Basher, which is why this scoot will spam the "MEDIC!" and "Need a dispenser here" voicelines until it gets it's life-saving health supply. This scoot is the most tortured, as it is always on the brink of life or death scenarios.


Scoot Bleeders have priorities on hitting targets:

Heavies (same or opposite team) with Sandviches and Second Bananas.
