Description
Ardennes Forrest, 1944

Small map for 2 to 8 players. Fight hard arround the central victory point, located infront of a small restaurant on a cliff in a small pass crossing a deep valley. Dig down, work together with your mates, to push the enemy out of it's possitions, entrenche yourself, or continue the breaktrough.

Please notify me about any bugs, errors, ugly edges or missplaced objects!

Have fun playing!

Description

The steep Mountains and deep valleys of the ardennes forest became the sight of heavy battles two times during World War 2. Originally thought as impassable to motorized armies it became the main point of attack for the germans in 1940, allowing for their armored forces to quickly dash into France. In the winter 1944 the germans again used the ardennes as their point of attack for another surprise offensive against the allied forces. They surrounded a large part of american troops, so general Patton was called to break them free. In an incomparable dash he covered over a hundred miles in only a few days, fighting heavily along the small passes in the mountains.

Thanks Axon. I think Nonceveux Counterattack sounds good and is quite fitting!

I'm not sure "Battle for Foy" would a fitting name, as it's not a map based on Foy from Band of Brothers. I believe that with the terrain you have made, a few more fitting names could be "Road to Petit-Coo," "Outskirts of Trois-Ponts," or "Nonceveux Counterattack." These locations are lesser-known, have nearby geography that fits, with battles that happened during the Battle of the Bulge campaign, between December 44 and January 45. A name along these lines is unique. Hope this helps you out!

Thank you for the good Idea, but besides the snow the terrains and objectives don't have much in common rly?
