Description
Provides various options to stop the carnage whilst dragging a tool on autosave!

Description
Had the issue where you drag a million cables, pipes or cancelled all your scheduled builds? This is a simple mod that automatically stops a drag on autosave, kindly leaving your pre-autosave dragged queue where it is without causing a rift in your colony! If configured it will also send you a warning notification & reset your tool to default.

Configuration
Config.json file can be found in:
  • Windows: ~\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\Steam\1861123244\
  • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Klei.Oxygen Not Included/mods/Steam/1861123244\

A template file Config.json.template is provided, simply copy, remove the .template from the filename and remove the comments (//).


Config has the following variables:
  • IgnoreIfOnlyDragging - Option will make the fix apply even when you're not currently dragging. (default: false)
  • ResetToolOnAutosave - Option will change the active tool to the default of nothing (usefull if the first fix does't resolve all issues). (default: false)
  • SendAutosaveWarning - Option will launch a notification and pause the game x seconds before an autosave (default 3 seconds). (default:false)
  • WarningSecondsBeforeAutosave - Param (Integer) that will assign the number of seconds before an autosave for when the notification will appear, must be between 1 and 60 seconds. (default:3)

Someone made a patch for the mod in the bug report on the github page. Seems to work well for me. havent had a crash since. just swap the dll's (i dont know this person so use at your own risk but it works) : https://github.com/Zonkeeh/ONI-Mods/issues/72#issuecomment-1272326958

@Eli yeah, that's the error. It's a known issue on the github. There has been no commits on this since Aug 2021.

I pretty much always crash if I have a tool in use during a save. TBH I don't really mind. It saves right before the crash and I don't cover the base with unwanted orders. Loading 94 mods does not take all that long.
