Description
Have you ever wanted to build all those futuristic POI base doors, especially the giant double facility door? This mod provides buildable versions of all 3 POI doors, complete with access control, automation integration and specific door perks.

Mod Version: 1.0.5
DLC Supported Version: EX1-447598-D
Base Game Supported Version: CS-447596-D



Specifics
  • Doors are unlocked through the refined objects node in the tech tree.
  • They appear in the base menu alongside their default counterparts and cost refined metal.
  • Futuristic Door - This door is the internal POI door and acts like a vanilla pneumatic door, meaning gases and liquids can pass through it.
  • Facility Door - This door is the facility double door, meaning it is 2x3 tiles big. It therefore costs double the requirements as a normal door (and a little plastic). It acts the same as a manual airlock.

  • Security Door - This door is the POI base external door, however it does not come with bioscan capability. It acts the same as a mechanized airlock meaning it requires power. As a perk of its cost it is also a little faster than it's counterparts.

Missing the Gravitas Door (3 tiles high). I know it was never in this mod. However it would be a cool addition...

Crash caused by something mentioning "Chair" in the log ... as soon as starting a new game

Q: Are you using a mod manager - either (1) "Mod Updater" or (2) "Mod Manager"?

These two mods will force the game to update your mods to the latest version. If you are not using either of the two ONI mods I mentioned, then it is more likely that your game is just not retrieving the latest version of the mod than it is a fault of this mod. IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE for the game that it often does not update to the latest version of mods from the Workshop.

@Thundercraft -- The main issue that most people do not realize with steam and ONI is that steam tends to deliver outdated mods. Which means that the people who complain, either do not use a mod manager to force an update, or do not know how to troubleshoot the mods they install.

I can say for a fact that this mod does not crash on the base version either.

From my testing so far in current game version - and with the "Spaced Out!" DLC active - this mod seems to be working as intended. I can build these doors. They open and close like regular doors. And I can lock these doors. I did not experience a crash or see any errors.

I don't know what other comments are talking about. :lunar2020thinkingtiger: Maybe it causes problems for those without the DLC? Or, maybe they're experiencing a mod conflict? :shrugs:
