Endless Death Night

Description
Small script that sets the number of locked levels of the Death Night to 2 at the start of the campaign, having basically the same effect achieved by completing Hellebron 2 quests, each of which blocks 1 level of Death Night.

Completing those quests won't increase the locked levels anymore, they will remain at 2.

Script gets activated on next turn start.

Should also be save compatible, effects should be seen on next turn after loading a game with the mod.

Added compatibility with Mod Configuration Tool. Single option to enable stacking with the rewards from the quests. This will allow for 4 locked levels so you're always at the last bar. This is turned OFF by default.

If your current level is lower than the new minimum after the locked levels get updated, it will take a turn for the game to bump you up to the new minimum.

Yeah, that's strange.

I could only see that happening if their code is stopping my script from running or Hellebron's faction name has been changed.

I don't have the game installed anymore so unlikely I'll help with this.

You can try subscribing to https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1271877744 and see if you can spot any errors in the logs. My mod logs some stuff prefixed with TTD, so you can maybe see if some part of it is running at least when starting a new campaign as Hellebron.

hey I know it's been like a year but I just found out that this doesn't work when run together with mega faction unlocker and I don't think there are supposed to have conflicting files so can you check out why that is causing issues?

I don't want to maintain 2 versions of this so what I did was add compatibility with MCT and there's an option there to allow that.
Check the description and make sure to enable that option cause it's off by default.
If you have a campaign in progress you need to enable it at the main menu so it's the default for all campaigns and inside the campaign as well since each save has its own settings.

Nice mod! Is it possible to do a seperate version that sets the lock level to 2 at the start of the campaign and then after completing the quests, the lock level will upgrade to 3 and 4? Would really appreciate it if that can be done:steamthumbsup:

Hey, I don't speak Chinese so going by Google translate.

This doesn't change anything about the number of armies.
It just prevents the level to fall bellow 2, so it doesn't trigger negative effects.
