The ZBL-09 infantry fighting vehicle, also known as the ZBL-08 8 x 8 wheeled infantry fighting vehicle, the 09 infantry fighting vehicle or the 09-wheeled infantry fighting vehicle, is an 8 x 8 wheeled infantry combat vehicle equipped by the PLA, developed by the Northern Industrial Corporation. Its first public appearance was at the 60th Anniversary Parade of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 2009, when it ranked fifth in the armored vehicle team, driven by members of the 54th Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army
